Quest for a half
Am thinking of running the AFC Half marathon in downtown San Diego on Aug 20. The only hitch is that I do not have the recommended minimum 8 weeks to train. Just started training last week and that gives me just about 6 weeks till the marathon. Have drawn up a schedule which fits the 8 week program into 6 weeks and am trying to follow that. Hopefully I should be able to ramp up the miles fast enough and be ready to tackle the marathon. For now i'll keep training and take a call in a couple of weeks.
